The Board of Directors of Pioneer Title Agency this week announced the appointment of Sandra Jolley as president and chief executive officer. She is the third president of PTA since its founding. Jolley has been with the firm for 35 years, and has held controlling interest for many years.

Jolley said she could not be more excited about her new position and the future of Pioneer Title Agency. “The new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations will make our industry and PTA stronger and safer. And the computer hardware and software systems upgrades we’re implementing will significantly decrease our turnaround time on title commitments,” she said. “Most importantly, we are appreciative of our loyal following of clients.”

The nine employees of PTA have combined experience of 122 years in the title business. Staff attorney Tammie Belcher has 22 years with PTA, is the chief title examiner, and has been the heart and soul of PTA’s title searches for many years. Belcher’s work in Pioneer’s proprietary title plant makes searches exceptionally accurate. According to Jolley, PTA’s escrow officers, Debbie Raborn and Robin Rose, “are the finest [she’s] ... worked with in 35 years.”

PTA is located in Chattanooga at 513 Georgia Ave. A branch office is located at 6150 Shallowford Rd. PTA can be reached at (423) 756-8221.
