Sunday, November 6
Daniel J. Woodard, a former Nashville attorney, has joined the law firm of Moore & Wild with offices in the James Building. Woodard is a member of the Chattanooga and American Bar Associations and was formerly associated with the legal department of the L & N Railroad.

Tuesday, November 8
Hamilton County citizens Tuesday gave their support to Vice-President Richard M. Nixon over Senator John F. Kennedy in a record vote of 71, 323. Nixon received 39,695 votes and Kennedy 30, 541.

Thursday, November 10
J.W. Whitaker chairman of the board of directors, announced the election of Richard S. White, Jr., and Joe D. Kerr as assistant trust officers of the Hamilton National Bank.

Friday, November 11
E.L. Lund, manager of the Chattanooga Better Business Bureau, issued a warning against holiday perfume and cologne promotions, by swindlers peddling cologne for perfume at great reductions.
