Events: Chattanooga Holiday Market




Beginning Saturday, Dec. 2, the Chattanooga Market will move its shopping indoors to the Chattanooga Convention Center for the holiday season. This year, nearly 200 vendors will attend the holiday festivities for three weekends in December. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sundays through Dec. 18.

Christmas with Stella

Choral Arts of Chattanooga will feature guest soprano Stella Zambalis during a Christmas concert to be performed Friday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St. Tickets costing $20 for adults and $10 for students will be available at the door. Children 12 and under may attend for free. Zambalis is a regular guest of leading opera companies throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and South America.

Chattanooga Symphony presents annual holiday program

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual family holiday concert, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre. The CSO will be joined by Chattanooga vocalist Neshawn Calloway, the CSO Chorus, the Center for Creative Arts Choir and the Metropolitan Bells, all conducted by CSO Music Director Kayoko Dan.

The program will feature iconic holiday hits as well as a holiday sing-a-long. Photos with Santa will be available before the concert and during intermission.
