Outdoor living enthusiasts can bid on their own custom living space to help raise money for the new Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in He Shed/She Shed/Tiny House.

The successful bidder will own the reconstructed space currently on display at Erlanger Baroness Hospital Medical Mall. The rooms, built by McCarthy Building Company, are staged to show what an exam room will look like in the new Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center.

The winning bid will include:

-- Transportation of the approximately 10-by-30-foot re-built structure to the site, which must be within 20 miles of the Chattanooga city limits.

-- Consultation with the Children’s Hospital design team to transform the building for the winning bidder. Ideas include a garden room, pool room, party room, play house, tiny house, outdoor bar, office or craft room.

-- Reconstructing the building on a patio or other appropriate foundation.

-- A new roof, all existing cabinetry, sliding wood and glass doors.

-- A $1,000 allowance for windows, doors and plywood siding.

The bid will not include the necessary permits, foundation, electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing or furnishings.

Bidding must start at $5,000 and can be increased in $100 increments. Bids can be submitted at www.shed.kintera.org. The last bid will be accepted before midnight Saturday, Sept. 30.
