IMAX with Laser Film Festival II Jan. 6-12

Chattanooga remains one of only 13 theaters nationwide to show movies using the new IMAX with Laser projection system. In celebration, the second IMAX with Laser Film Festival will come to Chattanooga's largest screen Friday, Jan. 6 to Thursday, 12.

Walking with Dinosaurs 3D

Daily screenings at 2 p.m.

This fictional computer-generated tale based on actual science focuses on a little Pachyrhinosaurus and his prehistoric adventure. Narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Tiny Giants 3D

Daily screenings at 3 p.m.

Using specialized 3D cameras, BBC filmmakers show viewers the lives of a chipmunk in a wild wood and a Grasshopper Mouse in a scorched Arizonan desert. Narrated by Stephen Fry.

The Last Reef 3D: Cities Beneath the Sea

Daily screenings at 4 p.m.

Reefs play a vital role in ocean ecology by serving as breeding grounds and offering protection to a profusion of underwater life. This Giant Screen Films production reveals the ancient history and fragility of these marine rainforests.

Journey to Space 3D

Daily screenings at 5 p.m.

"Journey to Space 3D" imagines the possibilities of mankind's next adventure to the Red Planet. Viewers are given a retrospective of the space program before taking a peek behind the scenes at NASA's plans to reach another world. Narrated by Patrick Stewart.

Jean-Michel Cousteau's Secret Ocean 3D

Daily screenings at 12 p.m.

Oceanographer, explorer and film producer Jean-Michael Cousteau directs this cinematic journey beneath the waves. Using specially designed film equipment, filmmakers captured imagery that reveals hidden aquatic animals and the importance all life plays to the ocean's ecological balance. Narrated by Dr. Sylvia Earle.

Wild Africa 3D

Daily screenings at 1 p.m.

This award-winning documentary from the BBC and Giant Screen Films offers animal encounters set in the epic vistas of the world's wildest continent.
