Holiday Market 2016

The Chattanooga Holiday Market will be indoors this weekend at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Open Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., the Holiday Market will feature more than 200 local food vendors, artists and crafters offering gifts and festive preparations. Shoppers will be able to find unique pottery, custom art, handcrafted jewelry, local foods, natural bath and body products, locally designed and made apparel, wood furniture and more.

Entertainment will include the Chattanooga Girls Choir, Sweet Georgia Sound and several other acoustical performers. Santa Claus will be on hand from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day for a free photo. Hot cocoa, warm lunch and spirits will also be available. Admission is free.

Christmas Open House

The Georgia Winery will host a Christmas Open House Saturday, Dec. 17 from 1-5 p.m. An assortment of holiday gift baskets, refreshments, gourmet food products, and wine gifts will be available for purchase.

Holiday Cheer and mulled wine will be available for sampling. Olive Chattanooga and Smell This Candle will be participating in the event. Admission is free.

Street Cycling 101

Learn techniques and rules of the road for cyclists at Outdoor Chattanooga on Monday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.

League of American Bicyclists certified instructors will teach Tennessee and Chattanooga laws pertaining to bicycles, lane positioning and changing, signaling and scanning and basic bicycle safety.
