Help us make a miracle

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Edrington Team will host a charity golf tournament to benefit the construction of a Miracle League of Chattanooga baseball field at Warner Park Register at donate.miracleleaguechatt.com. - Photograph provided

Do you remember waking up on a Saturday morning and getting ready to go play your favorite sport? Or maybe sports weren’t your thing, and you just went for the orange slices and Gatorade. Regardless, the act of playing an organized sport probably brought about friendships, accomplishments, and memories you hold very dear.

The Edrington Team, along with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Realty Center, believes no child should EVER have to watch from the sidelines. For that reason, we are hosting a charity golf tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Windstone Golf Club that will benefit the deserving children of The Miracle League of Chattanooga.

Children with physical limitations have the same wants, needs, and desires other kids do. But not every child gets the chance to pull on a jersey with their name on the back and be a part of something bigger than themselves.

With this in mind, please grab your golf clubs and join us to make this miracle a reality in our community. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a morning full of fun while also helping a worthy cause? We’ll have breakfast, beverages, and lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse! There will also be giveaways, prizes, and even a chance to win a 2017 KIA Sorento!

The Miracle Field is being built at Warner Park. It will consist of a rubberized surface with the bases painted directly on. This allows children in wheelchairs and walkers to go from base to base safely. It’s not about who’s the fastest, but who’s waiting at home plate to give you a high five!

Nash Norris is a child who can’t wait for The Miracle League of Chattanooga to be finished. Nash loved to play baseball, but after a serious surgery, his doctors told him it was no longer safe for him to play. He has waited for quite some time for this field to be built so he can step up to bat once again. Nash is just one of the many children in the area that will benefit from this field.

When you support The Miracle League of Chattanooga, you support a child’s dream. Please join us on Oct. 25 to help these children. Secure your spot by registering at donate.miracleleaguechatt.com.
