Attorney Scott Shaw has been elected president of the Chattanooga Theatre Centre (CTC) board of directors. He replaces Kim Jackson, who resigned at the end of her second term as president to serve as interim executive director of the CTC.

Shaw, an attorney with Evans Harrison Hackett, has been a volunteer at the CTC since 2012. As an actor, his roles included Daddy Warbucks in “Annie,” the Wolf in “Into The Woods,” Andrew Jackson in “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson,” and this season as King Arthur in “Camelot.”

Behind the scenes, he has served on the board of directors and chaired the committee of the BackStage Bash fundraiser. Scott and his wife, Alison, have two sons, Morgan and McClain, who are also active in the Theatre Centre.
