The Granfalloon is the Southside’s newest mixed use and multipurpose space. Located at 400 E. Main St., the space is available for public and private events, and will reopen for breakfast and lunch in December.

The approximately 3,000 square foot space is also available for seminars, meetings, and personal training in the smaller Chenille Room. Onsite parking and catering are also on hand.

With an early industrial look, The Granfalloon can accommodate parties, weddings, receptions, fundraisers, and concerts and other public performances. Also, with contacts in the entertainment industry, management at The Granfalloon can assist with event needs.

The space will be functioning under the ownership of Carla Pritchard, and as an arm of Chattanooga Presents, the company that produces the Nightfall Concert Series, Pops on the River, 3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival, Ice on the Landing, and other community events.

Plans are to open Adelle’s Ice Cream and Creperie by the end of December. The Creperie will add frozen treats and European-style sweet and savory breakfast and lunch choices to the Southside.

The Granfalloon will be managed by Tara Viland, a Chattanooga native with experience in the service industry, special events, and festival planning. Viland served as beverage manager for Nightfall in 2015.
