Chattanooga Broker Randy Durham (Keller Williams Downtown) was inducted as the 2016 president of the Tennessee Association of Realtors last week at the organization’s annual convention in Memphis.

In the role, Durham will oversee the activities of the 22,000 member association, which will include implementing its 36-page strategic plan, which he half-jokingly calls his job description for the next year.

In addition, Durham hopes to raise the bar of professionalism for Realtors and do away with grandfathering continuing education for long-time licensees.

Durham, who has served as president of the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors twice, encourages all Realtors to serve their profession. “The only way to make your profession better is to get involved with the associations. Find a committee or task force you feel passionate about, and step in to serve.”
