The six-member law firm of Summers, Rufolo & Rodgers has announced that members Jerry Summers and Jeff Rufolo have been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America for 2016.
Summers has been selected for Best Lawyers in either criminal defense or personal injury plaintiff counsel every year since the publication began in 1983.
Rufolo’s peers selected him as a Best Lawyer in the area of personal injury litigation - plaintiffs.
The two attorneys said they appreciate their respective designations as Lawyer of the Year because the selections were made by attorneys they litigate with and against in the Chattanooga community. “The best source of recognition is referrals from satisfied clients and positive peer reviews,” said Summers. “Our firm slogan is, ‘Where the practice of law is still a profession, not a business.’ As such, we do not engage in ... radio, television, or social media advertising.”
The firm currently known as Summers, Rufolo & Rodgers was formed in 1969.
