Justice Lee to host quality of life seminar in Chattanooga

Are you finding it difficult to juggle the demands of your job and the rest of your life? You’re not alone.

“A lot of people are having a more difficult time finding balance in their lives because there have been cutbacks or layoffs where they work. They’re afraid it might happen to them, so they’re putting in more hours,” says psychologist Robert Brooks, PhD. “But even if you don’t have much control over the hours you have to work, you can ask yourself: In what other ways am I bringing greater enjoyment into my life?”

Brooks says. “Focus your time and attention on things you can control.”

Justice Sharon G. Lee on Tuesday, December 3 in Chattanooga will speak at a quality-of-life seminar focusing on balancing family with a demanding career. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:45 in the River Room at Springhill Suites Marriott, located at 495 Riverfront Parkway; the seminar will take place from noon to 1:15. Those who attend will receive three hours of dual CLE credit approved for Tennessee. The cost is $45 for members of the Chattanooga Bar Association, $75.00 non-members, and $25 for legal support staff. Lunch is included.

To register, call the CBA at 756-3222, or fax the association at 265-660, or email Executive Director Lynda Hood at lhood@chattbar.org, or visit www.chattbar.org, or send a letter to: Chattanooga Bar Association, 801 Broad Street, Suite 420, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
