Helen Scott Hixon joins Upward Realty.com




Helen Scott Hixon has joined Upward Realty.com, where she will work with a team of real estate specialists. The company is owned by Raymond Warren, Broker.

Hixon’s varied real estate background has ranged from property management, retail center, outlet mall and office leasing. She served as general manager and marketing manager at Prime Retail Outlet Malls in Darien, Ga., and Perryville Md., and oversaw capital improvement and maintenance projects. While managing Chattanooga’s Northtowne Center for Angel Realty, Helen negotiated new leases with Staples, Factory Card Outlet, Framearound Gallery and more to accomplish full occupancy. She was Leasing Director for Healthcare Realty Trust’s 750,000 square feet medical office portfolio in Memphis, Tenn., headed Standard Management Company’s destination retail and festival marketplace leasing in Columbus, Ohio, and completed numerous lease transactions in Chicago-based Arthur Rubloff Co.’s managed properties in Cincinnati, Ohio, serving as leasing director for One Lytle Place, Cincinnati’s first mixed use high rise property located on the Ohio River. 

Her lease transactions in the initial lease-up of LJ Hooker’s Forest Fair Mall in Fairfield, Ohio included Oshman’s Sporting Goods, Little Professor Books, and Hyde Park Jewelry. Helen attributes much of her success to CBL & Associates foundational training when she was a leasing representative and project manager with that company for seven-and-a-half years.

Hixon has sold starter and dream homes and waterfront and commercial properties. Personal renovation projects include residences in historic districts in Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio’s German Village.

Helen graduated from Covenant College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management. She is a Graduate of the TN Association of Realtor’s Institute, and the TN Real Estate Education Systems.

She is married to Millard Hixon, has one daughter and

two delightful grandchildren. Her interests include a broad genre of music, art, history, and being out-of-doors as much as possible.
