Black Creek Mountain announces club general manager




Black Creek Mountain, a resort-style community located in Chattanooga, has announced Ben Jones as the new general manager of its club.

The Black Creek Club offers a golf course, tennis courts, a cascading pool, a sports complex, nature trails, and a clubhouse with fine dining, a men’s grille, a fitness center, and a  lounge.  Golf Digest consistently ranks Black Creek Club among the top 10 golf courses in Tennessee.

Jones’ previous work in Chattanooga includes a position with the Walden Club, where he improved operations of the club over a nine year period.  After moving out of state for several years, Jones returned to Chattanooga as an equity partner at Walden Club, where he oversaw renovations and the re-creation of the club.

Jones, who has been named a Certified Club Manager by the Club Manager Association of America, has over 35 years of experience in hospitality management.  Previous positions include General Manager of Isleworth County Club in Orlando and Country Club of Mobile.  Before taking a position at Black Creek, Jones managed the Governors Club in Tallahassee and participated in a family business developing and renovating real estate.

Black Creek Mountain is a resort-style residential community located six minutes from Chattanooga, in the valley of Aetna Mountain.
