North Carolina beat Wisconsin 88-82 on March 27th. It was the final for the Syracuse region. 7. North Carolina beat Michigan State 87-71, and Illinois beat Louisville 72- 57. The final four took place on April 2nd. 8. University of North Carolina beat Illinois 75-70 on April 4th. This was the first time Roy Williams had won a NCAA championship. 9. Memphis. The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Memphis Tigers with a score of 92-76, advancing to the Final Four. 10. Ohio State beat Georgetown, and Florida beat UCLA. During the 2007 regular season, Florida and Ohio State played, ending in a 26-point Florida victory.
