ANSWERS:

1. Green

2. None of the above. Lincoln never attended college and had very little formal education. He was truly a self-made man.

3. False. Grissom, Chaffee, and White died in a cockpit fire on January 27, 1967. However, the rocket they were in was not harmed by the fire. The source for the fire was never discovered. The investigation that followed the fire led to a setback that delayed any further manned Apollo missions for almost 21 months.

4. The correct answer is 103. CCIV is 204, and CI is 101. So 204-101=103.

5. Phenomenon.

6. The correct answer is Onyx. Exodus 39:6 reads, “They mounted the onyx stones in gold filigree settings and engraved them like a seal with the names of the sons of Israel.” An ephod was an object in ancient Israelite culture, and was closely connected with oracular practices. In the Books of Samuel, David is described as wearing one when dancing in the presence of the Ark of the Covenant. One is described as standing in the sanctuary at Nob with a sword behind it in the book of Exodus. In Leviticus, one is being created for the Kohen Gadol, or Jewish High Priest, to wear as part of his official vestments, and in the Judges, Gideon and Micah each cast one from a metal.

7. Saint Basil’s Cathedral.

8. Field.

9. Can’t Stop Laughing, or Cannot Stop Laughing, i.e.: “Oh my goodness, that was so funny, I can’t stop laughing.” Here are a few more: 2MI – Too much information; 9 – Parent is watching; BIB – Boss is back.

10. Twelve pounds. Females can weigh up to 15 pounds, while the male species usually weighs only eight to 10 pounds.
