The Chattanooga Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors on Wednesday, March 13 will vote on a proposed change to its local affiliate membership dues. If passed, the change will increase the organization’s dues to $100, effective January 2014.
Currently, local affiliate membership dues are $50. National affiliate membership dues for Realtors are $175, while National affiliate dues for Realtors that hold the PMN designation are $225. Super Sponsors dues are $200.
The proposed change to the organization’s bylaws would increase them to $100.
“We have not had an increase in local affiliate dues since 1992, and this would keep the membership dues more in line with each other,” said Jennifer Grayson, bylaws chairman.
In addition to the bylaws vote, the WCR will host its annual spaghetti lunch and basket auction. The event will take place at the Home Builders Association beginning at 11:30 a.m. Kim White of River City Company is scheduled to speak about what’s new and upcoming in Downtown Chattanooga.
