Animal welfare workshop




The Smart Dog School of Fundraising ( www.schooloffundraising.com ), an Arizona based school that offers certified training to animal welfare staff, will bring its highly rated one day animal welfare fundraising workshop to the McKamey Animal Center on June 20.

This same fundraising workshop was recently hosted by animal shelters in Chicago, Ill., Cleveland, Ohio, and Seattle, Wash., with registration selling out in all three cities. The workshop provides hands-on instruction in the creation and design of ready-to-implement fundraising campaigns developed to help people employed in animal welfare raise more money and acquire new donors. The workshop consists of three classes:

Fundraising fundamentals – Learn about the best funding sources and where to invest your time and resources.

Developing a strategic fundraising plan –Be taught how to put together an integrated plan that maximizes your fundraising revenue.

Write and design effective direct mail campaigns – Learn everything you need to know to create, design and write highly effective direct mail campaigns that will help you raise more money and acquire new donors.

The workshop registration fee of $99, including a workbook and e-copy of all fundraising presentations, forms and templates, is being offered for only $79 for registrants who register by May25 thanks to a sponsorship from Ohio-based, Mason Company (www.masonco.com).
