Choate welcomed to Ooltewah Crye-Leike

After 16 years of helping homebuyers and sellers with their real estate needs, Chattanooga Realtor Gayla Choate decided it was time to move to Crye-Leike. “After having a career in real estate sales for the last 16 years, I have built a reputation as an agent who focuses on my customer’s needs and have many satisfied clients,” says Choate. “I have grown my business steadily, and am looking forward to growing it even more as I join Crye-Leike.”

Choate is now a member of the Crye-Leike sales team in the company’s Ooltewah branch office. She is a licensed Realtor in Tennessee and Georgia working with buyers and sellers in and around Hamilton, Bradley, Catoosa and Walker counties. Choate specializes in all types of residential real estate sales including new home construction, farm, land, condos, townhomes and investment properties. She is a member of the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

“I have lived in the Chattanooga, Harrison and Ooltewah area for over 59 years. With my family experience in residential building and having built four homes of my own, I bring a lot of knowledge to my real estate profession,” said Choate. “I was a multi-million dollar producer my first year in the business and have carried on that tradition, bringing a servant’s heart, integrity and knowledge to the marketplace.”

Before becoming a licensed Realtor, Choate worked as an information records representative with the Tennessee Valley Authority for 30 years. With the TVA, she was also a certified trainer for diversity awareness. Choate was a union member with the Office and Professional Employees International Union for 30 years, serving as a vice president, designated union representative and a member of the contract negotiation team and the health insurance committee.

Choate lives in Ooltewah, Tenn., with her husband, Otis Tipton Oxford. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, outdoor activities and playing with her grandchildren. She has been an active member of the Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison for 35 years, and she is a frequent volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga.
