Local patients and major sponsors signed well wishes to the winner of the St. Jude Dream Home Tuesday at the St. Jude Dream Home Floor Signing Party. Shaw Floors, the sponsor of this event and new national sponsor for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, was on hand for the event.
The grand opening for this year’s house, located at 8151 Propeller Drive in the Georgetown Bay subdivision of Ooltewah, will be May 12. The house will be open to the public for free tours Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Visitors to the house can register to win a shopping spree at Ashley Furniture HomeStore. A limited number of tickets for a chance to win the St. Jude Dream Home will also be available during the open houses.
The 2,723 square foot house, constructed by Pratt Homebuilders, includes three bedrooms, two and one-half baths, a whirlpool tub in the master bath, stone hearth and fireplace in the Great Room and granite countertops. It will be given away live on WRCB Channel 3 on June 24 at noon.
The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
