FUNGOLF Tournament scheduled for May 3




The Chattanooga Civitan Club has scheduled its 24th annual FUNGOLF tournament for May 3 at Bear Trace in Harrison Bay. The four-person select shot amateur tournament will begin at 1 p.m. Golfers can either pick their team or allow tournament officials to place them on a team. All proceeds will benefit the Civitan Charities, which help handicapped and needy children. Land Rover and Jaguar of Chattanooga are sponsoring a hole-in-one prize.

Tournament officials have also announced prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Mulligans will be available. Golfers will be limited to two Mulligans each, and the Mulligans may not be used for any hole-in-one context.

Various sponsorship opportunities are available including: Tournament Sponsor (includes free golf foursome and the company’s name on a large banner and in all publicity); Corporate Sponsor (includes the company’s name on a large banner and in all publicity); Hole Sponsor (includes a sign on the tee box or green); and Sponsor (includes the company’s name on a large sponsor board at the club house).
