Miller & Martin adds Archibald to litigation department

Lynzi Archibald has joined Miller & Martin as an associate of the Litigation Department in its Chattanooga office. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Archibald graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2008. She received UGA’s premiere academic scholarship, the Foundation Fellowship, obtained B.A.s in English and Philosophy, and served as the president of UGA’s Undergraduate Mock Trial Program.

She was awarded the Virginia Law Scholarship and graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011. While in law school, Archibald participated in the Non-Profit Pro Bono Clinic and Criminal Defense Clinic. She also volunteered as a summer intern for Legal Aid of East Tennessee in Chattanooga. Archibald served as a law school tour guide and the vice-chair of Virginia’s Extramural Moot Court program. Out of the 260 original competitors in Virginia’s William Minor Lile Moot Court competition, Lynzi was one of four finalists and won the 2011 Stephen Pierre Traynor Award for Best Oralist.

Archibald enjoys going to concerts, scuba diving and traveling. During college, she studied English at Oxford University and Ecology in the South Island of New Zealand, and also volunteered as an English and Sexual Education teacher in Arusha, Tanzania. Lynzi is excited to join her fiancé, Hal Gruetzemacher, an English teacher at Chattanooga Christian School and native of Chickamauga, Ga., in Chattanooga.
