Crye-Leike’s Loomis earns CDPE designation

Crye-Leike Chattanooga Realtor Debra Loomis knows the importance of keeping her knowledge of the housing market current and up-date, especially in a housing market as challenging as the current one. That’s why Loomis decided to earn her professional real estate designation as a Certified Distressed Property Expert.

“The CDPE designation has given me the training I need to work with sellers and lenders on handling the complexities of short sales and negotiating with major banks to help financially strapped homeowners regain peace of mind and a sense of stability for the future,” said Loomis. “The knowledge I’ve gained from earning this designation will help me to better assist my clients with avoiding foreclosures.”

Real Estate professionals with the CDPE designation have completed training in foreclosure avoidance and short sales.

“In the tough economic times we are seeing, more and more homes in every price range are in danger of falling into foreclosure,” said Loomis. “Distressed homeowners facing foreclosure often proceed without guidance of any kind, but a homeowner in distress should speak with a well-informed, licensed real estate professional to discover their best options. The most important fact for financially distressed homeowners to keep in mind: the sooner help is sought, the better.”

Loomis adds, “The prospect of foreclosure can be financially and emotionally devastating; that is why earning this designation was important to me. It’s personally rewarding to be able to help sellers save their homes from foreclosure and keep their dream of homeownership alive.”

Loomis is a licensed Realtor in Tennessee and Georgia who works with buyers and sellers based out of the company’s Hixson office. She assists clients in and around the greater Chattanooga area, specializing in all types of residential real estate sales. Loomis places emphasis on continuing education in order to best serve her customers, so the CDPE is the second real estate designation she’s earned. She also completed training and earned her real estate certification as an Accredited Buyer Representative.
