The Chattanooga chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors will welcome international speaker, award-winning real estate agent and lifelong entrepreneur Monica Neubauer to its monthly networking luncheon in September.

Neubauer will speak at the event, a members-only gathering that will take place Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at The Walden Club.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Neubauer hosts two podcasts, including the National Association of Realtors’ “Center for Realtor Development” podcast, and has been featured in national media outlets.

Known as the “Maverick Motivator,” Neubauer is a certified speaking professional with the National Speaker Association, the author of “Straight Talk for Real Estate Success” and a contributor to “Own the Microphone.”

As a Franklin, Tennessee native, Neubauer has extensive knowledge of the area and has sold hundreds of houses in Middle Tennessee.

Neubauer will present a talk titled, “Communicate, Collaborate and Close: Moments that Matter.”

“The real estate professional is the only person who walks with the buyer or seller through every part of the transaction – consultation, searching, contracting, financing, inspecting, closing and sometimes even moving,” she says. “They are the center of the transaction and communicate with everyone.”

Neubauer will discuss tools she’s designed to improve an agent’s listening and problem-solving skills.

“Good communication is crucial to improving understanding and closing the deal,” she adds. “The better the communication, the better the transaction is for the consumer, agents and vendors.”

Members can purchase tickets to the luncheon by clicking on the “Communicate, Collaborate and Close: Moments that Matter” link at www.facebook.com/WCRChattanooga.

Realtors who would like to become a member of Women’s Council of Realtors – Chattanooga should visit www.wcr.org and select the red “Join Now” button at the top right of the page. After becoming a member of the national organization, they should then contact Jamie Curtis, the 2023 president of the local network, at jamiechattanooga@gmail.com.

Nationally, the Women’s Council is a community of 13,000 real estate professionals and more than 250 local and state networks in nearly 40 states. A key benefit of the local council is its focus on education, including training in presentation skills, running a business, negotiation skills, networking and referrals.
