Collegedale residents and visitors who want to walk off one of McKee Foods’ popular Swiss Rolls can now burn the calories at Little Debbie Park, which McKee Parks Trails, Greenways and the city of Collegedale opened June 30.
The park includes more than 400 trees, 5,000 shrubs, greenway connections, a pavilion with restrooms, a playground and other outdoor features.
As part of the grand opening, Collegedale officials unveiled a Little Debbie sculpture crafted by local artist Alex Paul Loza. The life-size sculpture depicts Little Debbie holding a tray of – what else? – Swiss Rolls.
Little Debbie Park is located at The Commons in Collegedale (4950 Swinyar Drive), the cultural and recreational center of Collegedale and the eastern end of Hamilton County.
