The American Immigration Lawyers Association has elected Grant, Konvalinka & Harrison attorney Brittany Thomas Faith to its board of governors.

As a board member, Faith will “support the association and its mission to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members,” the firm reports.

The AILA also honored Faith with its 2021 Joseph Minsky Young Lawyer Award for the “outstanding contributions she has made as a young lawyer in the field of immigration and nationality law,” Grant Konvalinka reports.

The association presented the award to Faith during its virtual annual conference.

Faith is a director at Grant Konvalinka. She has extensive experience with family-based immigration petitions, employment-based petitions and humanitarian relief.

Faith is a regular contributor and speaker on immigration for the American Bar Association, the AILA, the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition and the Tennessee Bar Association.

In 2019, Faith was one of only 40 attorneys in the country to be selected for the “ABA on the Rise - Top 40 Young Lawyers” award. In 2017, she was awarded the TBA YLD’s President’s Recognition award. And in 2020, Faith was selected for membership in the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.

Super Lawyers has named Faith a Rising Star since 2017 and she maintains a 10.0 Superb Rating from Avvo.

“Brittany’s innovation, creativity and commitment to excellence regarding immigration issues is noteworthy,” says attorney David Higney, Grant Konvalinka managing director. “Our firm is proud of Brittany’s leadership and passion in her service to the immigration law community.”
