CHI Memorial Center For Healthy Aging partners with Chattanooga Housing Authority

CHI Memorial Center for Healthy Aging is opening a second location. The new office will be at the Chattanooga Housing Authority’s Boynton Terrace Apartments in the Westside. Alycia Cleinman, a board-certified geriatric and internal medicine physician, is the medical director of CHI Memorial Center for Healthy Aging.

“Medical care and medication management can become more complex as we age,” Cleinman says.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the residents in this community and working with them to address their health care needs and concerns.”

CHI Memorial has partnered with the Chattanooga Housing Authority to provide the community with convenient access to medical care.

CHA Executive Director Elizabeth McCright says, “We have a strong presence of residents who are over the age of 62 in the community.

Having access to health care for them is a huge plus. It not only helps the individual but also adds to the quality of life for the entire neighborhood.”

CHI Memorial Center for Healthy Aging specializes in geriatric medicine.

Providers focus on managing and treating complex age-related conditions including memory loss, fall and balance issues, and dementia-related behavioral problems.

CHI Memorial Center for Healthy Aging has two locations. The Boynton office is at Boynton Terrace Apartments, 957 Boynton Drive, and serves residents 65 and older.

Office hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Chattanooga office is in the Memorial Missionary Ridge Medical Tower on the CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga campus, 725 Glenwood Drive.

Office hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m.-noon Fridays.

Cleinman is welcoming new patients age 55 and older.
