Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St. in Coolidge Park, will host free indoor archery sessions for all ages and skill levels every Wednesday in February and March, 3:30-6 p.m. With a focus on the fundamentals of archery and with an emphasis on safety rules, the sessions follow the National Archery in Schools format and procedures.
All sessions will be walk-in (drop in any time during any session) and open to ages 5 and up. No reservation or prior experience will be required to participate. All equipment and instruction will be provided.

100 Black Women presents Mardi Gras Ball
The Chattanooga chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women will present its annual Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, Feb. 16, 8 p.m.-1 a.m., at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The organization will use the funds raised to fund scholarships and continue operating its Sista-to-Sista Mentoring Program at Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy.

U.S. Navy Band Tour coming to Soddy-Daisy
The U.S. Navy Concert Band will perform at Soddy-Daisy High School Friday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. The Navy Concert Band will present an array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire. The performance will be free and open to the public.

Chattanooga State to present ‘Carmina Burana’
