Newsmakers: Memorial welcomes Amber Smith




Amber Smith has joined CHI Memorial Integrative Medicine Associates. Smith received an associate’s degree in nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, and her master’s degree in nursing from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. She is board certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Smith has experience as a registered nurse in a hospital intermediate care unit and pediatric intensive care unit. She welcomes patients ages 7 and older. To schedule an appointment, or for more information, call 423 643-2246.

Ruby Falls expands its marketing, operation teams

Ruby Falls has hired Neyrissa Best, Missy Montgomery and Matt Owens for its marketing and operations teams. Best joins as inside sales coordinator, Montgomery as digital media and public relations coordinator, and Owens as senior graphic designer.

Best joins Ruby Falls after working with R&R Marketing since 2016. Her role will involve coordinating international, civic, special interest, convention and school group visits for the Lookout Mountain Attractions brand.

Montgomery will collaborate with news and media outlets to promote special events and projects related to Ruby Falls. Prior to joining Ruby Falls, she held the role of social marketing coordinator for a Christian media company in Orlando, Florida.

Owens joins Ruby Falls after relocating from Oneonta, Alabama, where he founded and led a graphic design company. He brings over a decade of experience in print and digital graphics.
