Newsmakers: Salvation Army names Hortons area commanders

HHM talent adds Donahue as recruiter

HHM Talent has hired Erin Donahue as a senior recruiter in its Chattanooga office.

Donahue brings eight years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, executive search and talent acquisition. She previously served as a senior recruiter and program manager at a regional law firm and has recruited for a multinational technology company and national talent firms.

In her new role, Donahue will recruit candidates in accounting, finance, executive leadership, legal, sales, marketing, operations, administration and human resources. HHM Talent said her addition will strengthen the firm’s recruiting services for businesses across multiple industries.

Capts. Johnny and Monica Horton have returned to Chattanooga as the new area commanders for The Salvation Army.

The Hortons previously served in Chattanooga as citadel corps officers after graduating from The Salvation Army’s Training College. Their new roles mark their first appointment as area commanders.

The couple, who have five children, say they’re looking forward to serving the community again after more than a decade away.

Four of their children have moved to Chattanooga with them.

The Salvation Army says it looks forward to the Hortons leading its ministry and community service efforts across the greater Chattanooga area.
