The Master Gardeners of Hamilton County will present their annual tour on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The self-guided outing will feature five private gardens and the arboretum at Southern Adventist University’s Hickman Science Center, 4836 Colcord Drive, Collegedale. Additional stops include 7902 and 7903 Bear Stone Drive, Ooltewah; 6508 White Oak Valley Circle, McDonald; 8920 Finney Point Drive, Ooltewah; 10984 Prairie Lake Drive, Apison; and 1864 Holden Farm Place, Ooltewah. Highlights include annuals, perennials, native plants, pollinator gardens, water features, stone pathways and an arboretum with an audio guide. Admission is $20 and is good for both days. Diversify: Women Mean Business
Presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, this event celebrates the impact, innovation and leadership of women in Chattanooga’s business community. Held at Erlanger Park, the program will feature panel discussions with local leaders including Dr. Lori Mann Bruce, chancellor of UTC, and Janet Rehberg, president and CEO-elect of EPB, along with Ella Livingston, owner of Cocoa Asante, and Monique Quarterman, cofounder of Kinlike Care. Attendees will gain insights on leadership, entrepreneurship and growing woman-owned businesses. A Celebration of Art and Healing
Hosted by CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital, this special exhibition showcases an extraordinary collection of works by acclaimed watercolorist Alan Shuptrine, along with a selection of paintings by his father, the late Hubert Shuptrine (1936–2006). The exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the artistic legacy of two generations of celebrated American painters. An opening reception will be held from 5:00–6:30 p.m. in the Entrance B Lobby at CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital, 2525 DeSales Ave., Chattanooga. The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibition will remain on display through August 2026.

Best Barrels
Preserve Chattanooga will host an elevated whiskey and bourbon tasting experience from 5-8 p.m. at the Event Hall at St. John’s Restaurant, 1278 Market St., Chattanooga. Guests will sample single-barrel and uncommon whiskey and bourbon pours paired with seasonal dishes prepared by Executive Chef Patrick Sawyer. VIP ticket holders will receive early entry at 4:30 p.m., access to the private Ferrari Room lounge and patio, and a guided tasting of three rare whiskey selections beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $175 for general admission and $250 for VIP admission. Juneteenth celebration
The Net Resource Foundation will host the South Chattanooga festival, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., at Cocoa Cafe, 618 W. 38th Street. The free, family-friendly event will honor the legacy of Black history while also highlighting the future of community investment in South Chattanooga. Attendees will be able to enjoy vendors, food and music. Organizers say the event will also provide a platform for small businesses and creators to showcase their work. Information
