Explore Downtown Living Tour set for June

River City Company will offer those who are looking for a new home or interested in urban living a unique way to spend a Sunday afternoon when it hosts Explore Downtown Living Tour, a showcase of living options in 14 downtown apartment and condo developments, on Sunday, June 3, 1-4 p.m.

Free and open to the public, check-in will be at Miller Plaza on Market Street. Gray Line Trolleys, which offers the Chattanooga Hop Trolley Tour, will be providing free trolley service along the tour loop for easy access to every development.

“With over $1 billion dollars of private investment that’s occurred in downtown Chattanooga since 2015 and a majority of that development work going toward housing, we know there are a lot of people who want to explore and eventually live in these new or renovated downtown spaces,” says Kim White, president and CEO of River City Company.

“Whether you want a studio on the Southside, a view of the river in Cameron Harbor or an urban experience in the heart of City Center, there’s a property for you on this tour.”

This new wave of private investment in downtown Chattanooga includes 3,048 apartment units, 1,968 student beds, 1,075 hotel rooms, 272 condos and townhomes and 993,100 square feet of commercial space.
