Chattanooga State Community College sophomore Jessica Klovensky is the grand prize winner of the 2018 Staples for Students scholarship sweepstakes.

She will receive a $50,000 scholarship to be applied toward completing an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance.

Klovensky, a 42-year-old working-adult student, wife and mother of two, celebrated her win with a trip to Los Angeles and a meet-and-greet with celebrity and entrepreneur Jessica Alba at a Staples store in Santa Monica.

More than 11,600 sweepstakes entries were submitted nationwide during summer’s back-to-school promotion, which ended Sept. 15. In addition to the $50,000 grand prize, Staples awarded four $25,000 first prize scholarships.

“Jessica Klovensky has an incredible level of passion, dedication and sacrifice to obtain her college degree,” says Christine Mallon, vice president of retail marketing at Staples. “We congratulate her on her grand prize win and are excited to help her achieve her goal of becoming a certified public accountant.”
