Old Gilman Grill opens in West Village

The DeFoor Family has announced Old Gilman Grill as the newest dining destination in the West Village.

Located on the corner of Pine Street and Eighth Street, Old Gilman Grill offers an upscale dining experience in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. Old Gilman Grill is part of the vision the DeFoor Brothers had to develop a village around the Westin that will draw locals and travelers alike to “eat, shop and stay.”

The new eatery pays homage to the century-old building that was once the headquarters for Gilman Paint. Walls are adorned with images of the past provided by the Gilman family.

The menu at Old Gilman Grill features seasonal social plates and house specialties along with sweet and savory crepes.

“While developing the West Village, we wanted to bring an elevated dining experience to the area,” says Jay Radnor, director of hospitality assets. “Guests can expect premium service and a chef-driven menu with seasonal specialties.”

Old Gilman Grill is located across from the Westin at 216 West 8th St.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week.

Reservations will be welcomed and groups can book gatherings in the private dining room.
