Just in time to give yourself a Father’s Day gift! The new CBA tie is being hand made in Postiglione, Italy by brothers Diego and Donatello, who are third generation tie makers.

Each tie is hand stitched of 100 percent custom made premium silk. This tie was created exclusively for the Chattanooga Bar Association, and designed by Wilson & Bow of Chattanooga.

Wilson & Bow, Custom Ties & Textiles is based out of Chattanooga, with offices in the Scenic City on Market Street, and New York City. Wilson & Bow focuses on custom made neckwear for country clubs, colleges, high schools, bar associations, and non-profit organizations, designing and manufacturing custom ties for men and custom scarves for women.

Wilson & Bow’s designer and creative director in New York City, Sangeetha Kowsik, is a classically trained fashion designer with a passion for scarves and ties. Among her many accomplishments, Sangeetha designed all of the beautiful scarves for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Wilson & Bow is owned by Matt Wilson, an eighth-generation Chattanooga native. The tie business first began in 1998, when Matt spent a month backpacking around northern China with a classmate from McCallie. The two friends stumbled upon an old man selling neckties in a back alley of Beijing, purchased 600 of them, and brought them back to Chattanooga. In this colorful way, the Wilson & Bow adventure in high fashion began, and continues as the company is adding new accounts for custom ties and scarves weekly.

If you didn’t pre-order, and would like to purchase a hand stitched tie from Italy, please send me an email at LHood@chattanoogabar.org. The CBA is not making a profit on these ties, as we wanted to make them available to the membership at wholesale cost of $55 each. Gradire!
