Eliza Epps has joined the law firm of Luther Anderson.

Epps graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South magna cum laude, and earned her Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School.  As a law student, she served as the deputy chief justice of the Honor Council, staff member of the Journal of Women and the Law, funding chair of the Public Service Fund, and academic chair of the Black Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Luther-Anderson, Epps practiced at a law firm specializing in immigration law.  She also practiced on her own representing clients in criminal matters before the Hamilton County Criminal and General Sessions courts, immigration matters, wills and trust matters, and matters requiring a guardian ad litem.

Epps is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, and is a member of the Southeast Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Chattanooga Bar Association. Epps is also a member of the Junior League of Chattanooga and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
