HTI Employment Solutions opens new office

HTI Employment Solutions (HTI) last week announced plans to expand to Tennessee, opening offices in Chattanooga.

The staffing company, based in Greenville, S.C., has been selected to staff Plastic Omnium’s Chattanooga manufacturing plant, which is slated to open later this year. HTI, which provides services for other Plastic Omnium facilities, was awarded the bid to staff 300 positions created by the Tier 1 Automotive Supplier’s recent investment in Chattanooga.

Founded in 1999, HTI has offices in South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Georgia.

“Chattanooga fits well with HTI’s growth plan and culture,” said Brian Buchanan, director of industrial operations, HTI. “When we consider which communities to grow into, we look for a good business climate, a solid plan for continued growth, and an area that people want to live in. Chattanooga has all three.”

HTI will soon open offices at 6012 Shallowford Road.

HTI is seeking operators, technicians, team leaders, and other positions to staff the Plastic Omnium facility. Temp-to-hire and direct hire positions are available in the following departments: Assembly, Paint Line Loading, and Preparation and Injection Molding.

Pay rates for available positions start at $12.45 an hour for all shifts. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Competitive healthcare options and 401k benefits are available.
