Jim Wade, executive director of the National Medal of Honor Museum of Military History, brought an exhibit of Medals of Honor to the quarterly lunch meeting of local Certified Residential Specialists, held Thursday, Aug. 21 at The Broad Street Grille.

During a brief talk, Wade told several engaging stories about local recipients. The Medal of Honor, the highest military honor in the U.S., is awarded for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty.

Wade is currently raising funds to move the non-profit museum from Northgate Mall in Hixson to downtown Chattanooga. (The museum staff is all-volunteer.) To learn more, visit www.mohm.org.
