The MaryEllen Locher Breast Center is partnering with the Tennessee Breast and Cervical Screening Program, the Georgia Breast and Cervical Cancer Program and the Susan G. Komen Foundation to provide eligible uninsured and underinsured women with breast screenings.
If an abnormality is discovered, the diagnostic work up is covered and a financial plan is provided for any follow-up care. This assistance is available year-round.
To qualify, a woman must meet certain income guidelines, have no insurance or have insurance that does not pay for the service, and be 35 or older.
Mammography is available at all four CHI Memorial MaryEllen Locher Breast Center locations in Chattanooga, Hixson, Ooltewah and Ringgold, as well as in a private suite on MaryEllen Locher’s mobile digital mammography coaches.

MaryEllen Locher will request the first and last name of the caller’s doctor; if the caller does not have a doctor, the staff at MaryEllen Locher will work with her to find one.
