Tennessee native Andrea Richey is the new director of sales at Read House.
Richey has worked at big brand and independent hotels across the country. She most recently served as the area director of sales and marketing at The Westin Stonebriar Hotel & Golf Club in Frisco, Texas. Before that, she spent two years as the director of sales and marketing at Revival at Mt. Vernon Place in Baltimore.
Richey also has experience at Hilton properties in Georgia and Louisiana as well as a Sheraton hotel in New Mexico. In addition, she has worked for several hotels within the Davidson Hotel Company portfolio throughout the Southeast.
2020 Dinner of Distinction honorees
Dr. Daniel Fisher, Dr. Barry Heywood, Kim White and the late Dr. Woody Kennedy will be honored at the Erlanger Health System Foundations’ annual Dinner of Distinction in January.
Fisher, Heywood and Kennedy were selected by previous Distinguished Physician honorees and will be recognized for their enduring commitment to fostering quality medical services in this community.
The Erlanger Foundations will also honor White with the Gordon Street Distinguished Community Leadership award. Erlanger gives this award annually to community leaders who have championed the advancement of health care in the Greater Chattanooga region.

Trammell named VP at Habitat
Phil Trammell has been named vice president of development at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga. In this role, Trammell will lead Habitat’s local fundraising efforts, cultivate corporate partnerships, develop and execute fund development programs and collaborate with the board of directors on developing relationships with new supporters.
Trammell most recently served as vice president of development at WTCI and previously as chief advancement officer at Girls Inc. of Chattanooga, director of development at Texas Woman’s University and director of development at the University of Dallas.
Before his nonprofit career, Trammell held various corporate positions in banking, telecommunications, engineering and cable television enterprises.
Trammell is the incoming president of the Southeast Tennessee chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a mentor at Chattanooga Preparatory School.
Brooks selected as chief engineer
The Hamilton County WWTA has named Eric Brooks chief engineer of the organization.
The native Chattanoogan graduated from McCallie School and later from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2006.
Brooks began his career in utility construction in North Carolina before returning to Chattanooga to work as manager of the city’s 1,270-mile long sanitary sewer collection system. He’s also a licensed Grade II collection systems operator.
