Pinnacle Financial Partners opening Ooltewah office

Pinnacle Financial Partners is opening a new office in Ooltewah – its third in Chattanooga. Longtime local banker Gary Reese will serve as office leader, joined by veteran financial adviser Roger Qualey.

Both joined Pinnacle over the summer and bring a combined 49 years of experience to their roles.

Pinnacle’s lending in Chattanooga has increased to $1.3 billion over the last three years, while annual deposits have reached $992 million as of July 30. That represents growth rates of 87% and 50%, respectively, since March 30, 2016.

In addition to the new location in Ooltewah, Pinnacle also has offices on Broad Street downtown and on Shallowford Road in East Brainerd.

The Ooltewah office will serve personal and business clients with one financial adviser and four financial specialists. The team will provide deposit account, mortgage, wealth management and commercial banking services.

The office will also feature an ATM and two drive-thru lanes. In addition, it will include Pinnacle’s Learning Center for financial education events and community meetings.

Pinnacle began serving Chattanooga in 2015 when it acquired CapitalMark Bank & Trust. Pinnacle is the fourth-largest bank in Chattanooga in terms of deposits, the company says in a news release.

The firm began operations in a single location in downtown Nashville in 2000 and has since grown to approximately $26.5 billion in assets.

Pinnacle operates in 11 primarily urban markets in Tennessee, the Carolinas and Virginia.
