East Brainerd Oral Surgery, a provider of oral and maxillofacial surgery, has opened Hixson Implant and Oral Surgery, 4513 Hixson Pike, to serve patients in Hixson, Soddy Daisy, Red Bank and Dayton.
Hixson Implant and Oral Surgery and East Brainerd Oral Surgery offer wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants, bone grafting, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology and surgical care for facial trauma. The staff is trained in IV sedation and outpatient IV general anesthesia.
In addition to the new location in Hixson, the practice is adding Dr. Brandon Stanley to its team of oral surgeons. Stanley joins Dr. Bill Childress, Dr. Karl Meyer and Dr. Ricky Johnson. All four surgeons are U.S. Air Force veterans who have more than 100 years of combined experience in dentistry and oral surgery.
Maxillofacial surgical capabilities available include panoramic X-ray, implant systems for bone reconstruction and to replace missing teeth, and cone beam CT, an imaging system that creates 3D images of patients’ dental structures, soft tissue, nerves and bone with a single scan.
