Talk with attorney Joe Hollis Jr. for a few minutes and one thing will become clear: He has something good to say about everyone and is lavish in his praise.

Hollis calls the founding partner of his firm, the late Josiah Baker, a “dear, generous friend.” Baker’s wife, Betty, the former receptionist at the firm, was “a joy and a gracious lady.”

Some people never look back after deciding to become an attorney. But Jenna Fullerton kept her options open.

“I knew law school was a huge commitment, so I gave myself opportunities to decide against it,” she says.

Fullerton’s first attempt at changing course backfired. While an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin, she majored in political science and philosophy.

The newly built economy parking lot at the Chattanooga Airport is now open, offering shuttle service to the terminal.

To meet the parking needs of passengers, the two economy lots provide about 800 spaces and a free shuttle with service every 7 to 10 minutes to the terminal. The economy lot is located just off Airport Road at 5900 Rosedale Drive. Passengers can park for just $9 per day. Information

Under the curious scrutiny of onlookers gathered at the Coolidge Park boat ramp, Chattanooga students and scientists from the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute this month eased about 90 dinosaurs into the Tennessee River.

At just 15-inches long, the 9-month-old lake sturgeon that slipped into the current still have many years of growing before potentially becoming eight-foot river giants.

Nightfall will return Friday, May 3, when Americana troubadour Aaron Lee Tasjan takes the stage at Miller Plaza. The outdoor summer concert series will be held free each Friday for 17 weeks.
