Chattanooga Holiday Market begins Dec. 2

For over a decade, the Chattanooga Holiday Market has been a holiday tradition for locals and visitors wanting to shop for unique artisan gifts.

Held at the Chattanooga Convention Center during the first three weekends in December, the Holiday Market is not only a shopping experience but also a boost of holiday spirit that includes live music and entertainment, a lunch eatery and a space to visit with friends.

Shoppers will find an assortment of food vendors, fine art, jewelry makers, wood workers, photographers, apparel designers, bath and body care makers and more.

Admission will be free. Many of the vendors that will be selling goods are regulars on Sundays at the Chattanooga Market.

The Holiday Market will also feature seasonal vendors who will focus more on foods and gifts specific to the season.

Live music and entertainment will be performed on the Lodge Cast Iron Sizzle Stage every Saturday and Sunday. The Chattanooga Girls Choir, Sweet Georgia Sound and Pete’s Quartet will be among those singing holiday tunes. Other local favorites – including Amber Fults and Butch Ross – will also be performing.

On Sunday, Dec. 10, the Lodge Cast Iron “Originals Only Cook Off” will take place onstage. The live showcase will highlight some of the area’s best chefs while demonstrating the use of Lodge Cast Iron products. This special engagement will begin at 11 a.m. and will be free to attend.
